Steel fixer — Konshisha

Great opportunity: we are hiring a steel fixer in Konshisha, Benue State. The job is on a commercial tower construction site. Day to day you will check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules 1+ years on the tools preferred.
