The role involves replace brake pads, discs and callipers; replace shock absorbers, ball joints and track-rod ends; carry out suspension and steering repairs; road-test vehicles to confirm the repair; read fault codes and clear them after the repair; estimate repair costs and order the right parts. You should have: • ITI / NVQ Level 3 qualification in motor vehicle maintenance • Comfortable working in inspection pits and on ramps • Sound knowledge of petrol and diesel engines Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
