Concrete placer • Silame, Sokoto State

Now hiring: we are hiring a concrete placer in Silame, Sokoto State. Your main tasks: • Cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
