Skimming plasterer • Ellsworth County, Kansas

Now hiring: we are hiring a skimming plasterer in Ellsworth County, Kansas. You will be based on a busy domestic building site. Your main tasks: • Fix and set angle beads, stop beads and corner beads • Apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat • Mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency • Set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work • Apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork What we are looking for: • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets • Able to read drawings and set out work to a deadline • Willing to work on both new build and refurbishment sites 2+ years on the tools preferred.
