Quality checker wanted in Kalamazoo County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a quality checker in Kalamazoo County, Michigan. You will work at a busy manufacturing plant. You should have: • Able to stand for full shifts on the production floor • ITI or diploma in a mechanical or production trade Day-to-day duties: • Measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools • Verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing • Raise non-conformance reports and tag rejected batches • Inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting • Draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans Overtime paid at a premium rate.
