Join our team: foundry worker (New Jersey)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a foundry worker in Gloucester County, New Jersey. The job is at a brass and bronze foundry. On a typical shift you will assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle. What we are looking for: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding Full-time with occasional weekends.
