Plant operator (dozer) wanted in DeSoto County

Join our team: we are hiring a plant operator (dozer) in DeSoto County, Florida. You will be based at a busy earthworks site. Requirements: • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels • Willing to work on remote sites and rotating rosters • Knowledge of daily greasing and pre-start inspections The role involves: • Rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil • Backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid • Strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse • Cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes • Follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels 6+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $5,500 per project, based on your experience. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
