Great opportunity: tig welder (Georgia)

Now hiring: we are hiring a tig welder in Gwinnett County, Georgia. You will be based at a stainless steel fabrication shop. Ideal candidate: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium You will clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion. At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. Pay around $3,700 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
