GMAW welder • Trousdale County, Tennessee

We are recruiting: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Trousdale County, Tennessee. You will work in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. Requirements: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test Day to day you will tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints. At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
