Urgent requirement: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Routt County, Colorado. Requirements: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols Day to day you will select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding. $5,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
