Great opportunity: cnc lathe setter (Texas)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a cnc lathe setter in Victoria County, Texas. You will be based in a tool room. Day-to-day duties: • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets Ideal candidate: • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts Six days a week, one day off.
