Head baker wanted in Rockingham County

Now hiring: we are hiring a head baker in Rockingham County, North Carolina. You will work at a neighbourhood confectionery. The role involves: • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards • Prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity • Roll out short-crust and biscuit dough • Knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer • Laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter What we are looking for: • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen Part-time with flexible hours.
