Furniture maker wanted in Lehigh County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a furniture maker in Lehigh County, Pennsylvania. You will work at a kitchen and furniture manufacturer. What we are looking for: • Own basic hand tools • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers Your main tasks: • Erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain • Build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions • Check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level • Glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together Full-time with occasional weekends. $3,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
