Immediate opening: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Story County, Iowa. You will be based at an auto-components manufacturing unit. You should have: • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg Your main tasks: • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. $3,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
