Trowel-trade bricklayer — Charlotte County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in Charlotte County, Florida. Day to day you will forming arches, piers and reveals around openings; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go. You should have: • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
