Immediate opening: we are hiring a garment presser in Bay County, Florida. The job is at a textile finishing unit. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine Day to day you will fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron.
