Furnace operator • Franklin County, Kansas

Vacancy available: we are hiring a furnace operator in Franklin County, Kansas. You will be based at a brass and bronze foundry. You should have: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding You will cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges. At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $5,400 per month plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
