The role involves reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays; check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits; carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off; top up AdBlue and refuel at scheduled stops; secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars; log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards. Requirements: • Willing to take on night and multi-day trips • Valid digital tachograph card • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off.
