We are recruiting: we are hiring a door supervisor in Lucas County, Iowa. You will be based at a gated residential society. What we are looking for: • Valid PSARA / security guard licence • Trained in basic fire-fighting and first aid • Alert, disciplined and punctual Day-to-day duties: • Hand over the duty register and brief the next shift at handover • Man the entry gate and check visitor IDs and gate passes • Frisk people and run bag checks at the entry point • Operate the metal detector and hand-held scanner at the door • Detain shoplifters or trespassers and hand them over to police • Write up incident reports after any disturbance Six days a week, one day off.
