Immediate opening: we are hiring a steel fixer in Smith County, Tennessee. You will fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling Meals and transport allowance provided.
