HVAC-R technician • Wilcox County, Alabama

Great opportunity: we are hiring a HVAC-R technician in Wilcox County, Alabama. Day to day you will replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves; check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil; check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge; wire up thermostats, contactors and overload relays; pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture; install and commission cold rooms, walk-in freezers and display cabinets. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable handling refrigerant gases and gauge manifolds • Physically fit to lift compressors and carry ladders • Available on-call and at weekends for breakdowns Performance bonus on top of base pay.
