Immediate opening: groundsman (Kansas)

Now hiring: we are hiring a groundsman in Stafford County, Kansas. You will be based in a botanical garden. On the job you will handle: • Mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers • Maintain compost heaps and the potting shed • Sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease • Lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn Requirements: • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors Six days a week, one day off.
