Tig welder wanted in Lauderdale County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a tig welder in Lauderdale County, Mississippi. You will be based in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. On a typical shift you will feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp. Requirements: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. $3,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
