Argon welding operator wanted in Washington Parish

We are recruiting: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Washington Parish, Louisiana. Ideal candidate: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Able to pass a weld test on the spot On a typical shift you will set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool. 6+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $250 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
