Shuttering and concrete hand — Nassau County

Join our team: we are hiring a shuttering and concrete hand in Nassau County, Florida. You will be based in a residential housing project. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours You will erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour; compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing; carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer; load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors; lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade.
