Now hiring: we are hiring a rebar foreman in Saint Joseph County, Indiana. The job is on a busy residential building site. What we are looking for: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing Day to day you will bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
