Immediate opening: we are hiring a forklift operator in Pottawattamie County, Iowa. The job is at a freight and logistics depot. Day to day you will sweep and keep the loading bay free of debris; keep gangways clear and observe the site speed limit; load and unload pallets from trucks and shipping containers; carry out pre-shift checks on the forks, tyres, mast and hydraulics; stack and de-stack goods in high-bay racking; pick and put away stock against pick lists and the RF scanner. Ideal candidate: • Willing to wear steel toe-cap boots and hi-vis • Willing to work shifts, nights and weekends • Able to manually lift up to 25 kg when required Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
