The role involves: • Load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade • Patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing Ideal candidate: • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
