Immediate opening: concrete finisher (England)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a concrete finisher in Warrington, England. You will be based at a ready-mix concrete plant. Requirements: • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods Day to day you will fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule; lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days; discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms.
