PVC window assembler wanted in Vale of Glamorgan

Now hiring: we are hiring a PVC window assembler in Vale of Glamorgan, Wales. The job is in the profile cutting and welding bay. On a typical shift you will check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals; glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square; read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile; fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash; fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents. You should have: • Own basic hand tools (tape, square, screw gun) • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine 2+ years on the tools preferred. £1,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
