Concrete shuttering carpenter • Fresno County, California

Immediate opening: we are hiring a concrete shuttering carpenter in Fresno County, California. You will work at a precast concrete yard. On the job you will handle: • Check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line • Apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking • Box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations • Fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints You should have: • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork Full-time, day shift.
