We are recruiting: gas pipeline fitter (Cross River State)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gas pipeline fitter in Yakurr, Cross River State. You will be based in a gas distribution network. Your main tasks: • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections • Set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge What we are looking for: • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations • Able to read isometric and site drawings • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces Six days a week, one day off.
