Great opportunity: we are hiring a plasterer's mate in Wetzel County, West Virginia. The job is on a busy domestic building site. What we are looking for: • Able to mix plaster to the right consistency by feel • Good head for heights for ceiling and stairwell work Day-to-day duties: • Polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush • Mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency • Apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork • Float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge • Skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration • Fix and set angle beads, stop beads and corner beads Six days a week, one day off.
