Immediate opening: we are hiring a concrete labourer in West Carroll Parish, Louisiana. You will work on a metro and infrastructure project. Your main tasks: • Break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker • Cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator • Stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage • Load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate Ideal candidate: • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain • Physically fit and comfortable working at height Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
