Gas commissioning technician • Clayton County, Georgia

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas commissioning technician in Clayton County, Georgia. The job is at a heating and plumbing contractor. The role involves: • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser • Fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant Ideal candidate: • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
