Immediate opening: we are hiring an excavator operator in Saint Helena Parish, Louisiana. You will work at a road-building project. Your main tasks: • Keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook • Operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket • Top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects • Backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations You should have: • Understanding of safe digging near underground services • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
