Bar bender and fixer • Hall County, Nebraska

Now hiring: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Hall County, Nebraska. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. You will fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat. Ideal candidate: • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements Six days a week, one day off. We offer $4,400 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
