Now hiring: we are hiring a mosaic tiler in Sagadahoc County, Maine. Day to day you will run silicone sealant into corners and expansion joints; make curved cuts and holes with an angle grinder and tile drill bits; fit skirting tiles, step nosings and external corner trims; mix tile adhesive and cement mortar to the right consistency; spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles; set out mosaic sheets and trim them to fit the edges. What we are looking for: • Able to read setting-out drawings and tile layouts • Skilled with a wet saw, angle grinder and manual cutter • Knowledge of waterproofing and substrate preparation 6+ years on the tools preferred.
