Refrigeration technician • Madison County, Virginia

Vacancy available: we are hiring a refrigeration technician in Madison County, Virginia. You will be based at a supermarket cold-chain site. Day to day you will fault-find control boards and defrost timers; trace electrical circuits with a multimeter; check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge; recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system; measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift compressors and carry ladders • Able to read wiring diagrams and pressure-temperature charts • Comfortable handling refrigerant gases and gauge manifolds 4+ years on the tools preferred.
