You should have: • At least 2 years' hands-on experience as a car mechanic • Comfortable working in inspection pits and on ramps Day to day you will trace electrical faults in the starting and charging systems; replace exhaust systems and catalytic converters; replace brake pads, discs and callipers; check and top up coolant, brake fluid and power-steering fluid; replace clutch plates and gearbox components.
