Urgent requirement: elevator technician (South Carolina)

Immediate opening: we are hiring an elevator technician in Aiken County, South Carolina. You will work at a shopping mall with escalators and lifts. What we are looking for: • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces On a typical shift you will test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts; service the traction motor, brake and gearbox.
