Structural MIG welder • Switzerland County, Indiana

We are recruiting: we are hiring a structural MIG welder in Switzerland County, Indiana. You will work at a busy production line. You will grind back and re-weld any defective runs; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc. Requirements: • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium Part-time with flexible hours.
