HSE officer • Sioux County, Iowa

Immediate opening: we are hiring a HSE officer in Sioux County, Iowa. On the job you will handle: • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges You should have: • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces 3+ years on the tools preferred.
