Gtaw welder wanted in Alachua County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Alachua County, Florida. Your main tasks: • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints Ideal candidate: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings 2+ years on the tools preferred. $2,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
