Shuttering fixer — Saint Francois County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a shuttering fixer in Saint Francois County, Missouri. You will work at an infrastructure construction site. Day-to-day duties: • Brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour • Apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting • Check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line • Repair damaged plywood and timber shutters • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters You should have: • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules • Follows site safety, PPE and edge-protection rules 2+ years on the tools preferred.
