Great opportunity: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Duplin County, North Carolina. You will work at a steel fabrication workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator Ideal candidate: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes Rotating shifts.
