Immediate opening: we are hiring an automotive refinish painter in Erie County, New York. The job is at a busy body shop. You will bake panels in the spray booth oven to cure the paint; sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting; strip clean the spray guns and change the booth filters; apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels; check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch; apply body filler and block-sand to a smooth contour. Requirements: • Good eye for colour matching and blending • Physically fit to stand, bend and crouch for long periods • Able to mix paint by weight on a scale Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
