Great opportunity: we are hiring an elevator service technician in Derbyshire, England. The job is at a shopping mall with escalators and lifts. On a typical shift you will test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts; replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays; measure rope tension and check for broken strands; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers. Requirements: • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Valid driving licence for site call-outs Full-time, day shift.
