Safety officer wanted in Devon

Great opportunity: we are hiring a safety officer in Devon, England. You will work at a manufacturing plant. You should have: • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills Your main tasks: • Deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift 1+ years on the tools preferred.
