We are recruiting: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Sacramento County, California. You will be based at a busy fabrication workshop. Your main tasks: • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise You should have: • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety 3+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. $4,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
